One of my good friends and I have food intolerance. I have Celiac Disease, an autoimmune disorder in which I cannot eat anything containing wheat, rye, barley, spelt or kamut, throw in that I am the pickiest eater that ever lived, and finding food to eat is very difficult. My friend is allergic to corn, rice, soy, tomatoes, chocolate and is a vegetarian. Essentially, the only things the both of us can eat are fruit and vegetables.

Some restaurants have taken steps to accommodate people such as my friend and me, whereas others have done nothing. In this blog, I will detail the adventures we have as we try to hunt down places to eat, and gather groceries from ordinary stores.

P.S. Have you ever wondered why Goldilocks is named Goldilocks? Or why she is willing to just go into a stranger’s home without knocking? Or even why she is wandering the woods all alone? Were Hansel and Gretel really as sweet as they come off in the classic fairy tale? Find out in my other blog: notquite1001nights.wordpress.com
